
We decided to make one Apple Pie and one Tarte aux Pommes, then compare. For the Apple Pie, Silas cut his apples into chunks, added cinnamon, cardamon, cloves, nutmeg, ginger and a sprinkle of sugar, though not much so that it would remain tart. For the Tarte aux Pommes, Sagey spread a layer of creme d'amande, then carefully cut and arranged her slices.
